Options include the Basic Safety Stock Method, the Average - Max Method (also known as the Prudent Father Method), and four variations of the Normal Distribution Method. These alternatives allow you to account for demand and lead time uncertainties in various ways, tailored to your unique requirements.
You have the freedom to either opt for a single general method or link the method to your ABC/XYZ classification, providing a personalized approach to safety stock calculation.
